After a few years of collecting furniture in our overflowing house, we decided to bite the bullet and look for a space to finally open our secondhand furniture shop! Finding the ideal location proved challenging, until we found an old mechanic’s garage located in the heart of Preston. The space was perfect, although having spent over 40 years as busy workshop it was well and truly soaked in oil, grease and dirt from top to bottom. After a lot of blood, sweat, tears (and talks of divorce) the vision we had finally came to light and ‘The Secondhand Man & his Wife’ was born!
Pop in and you will see why we are not like other furniture shops. We offer an extensive range of quality secondhand x display and new furniture at affordable prices. We roam Victoria and beyond to bring a variety of furniture, past & present, to suit everyone’s budget.
If we don’t have what you are looking for (or you have a specific piece in mind), we will do our best to find it for you! We also offer free delivery within a 10km radius of our shop!
